I am getting a little confused on Report permissions. I had a role that had "CORE ADMINISTRATION PERMISSIONS" checked in error. I removed that permission and now the user does not have access to certain reports in NetSuite. According to NetSuite,
Sharing Custom Reports with Other Users, the user should still have the ability to view the custom report if they have the URL and the underlying permissions. They are getting an access denied message when trying to open the report.
I then add their role to the list for the Audience tab and they are able to view. I thought for the audience section they also still needed permissions to the underlying report, but that role is then able to see the report.
Trying to figure out how to handle existing reports for this role that used to have "CORE ADMINISTRATION PERMISSIONS" checked and make it available for them more easily than just assigning the role on the audience tab.
