I have a question about SuiteAnalytics Workbook permissions. I created a workbook that i want to share with my sales team. I then to be able to view the workbook, but not to edit or modify it, or the underlying dataset. It seem that the only permission that i can assign is via role, and the only option is "Edit" (see below). Did I miss something or is there a way around this to achieve the control I seek. I don't trust my users to be on the honor system of not modifying anything. Thanks

Sharing a workbook is kinda like giving users their own copy. They cannot edit the underlying dataset or modify the original workbook, but they can edit the workbook and save their own version of it. So if you share your workbook, it should be safe, but I don't think you can let users have workbook view-only permission through the UI across the board, but would love to hear if someone else knows different.

@James Morris thanks for your input. I did a simple test of a workbook that i created as admin. I gave permission to a sales role and then logged in as that sales role. I was able to run and edit the workbook and dataset. I stopped there, thinking that i had modified the original one that i created as admin. I never went back as admin to see if the sales role changes effected the original. I'll do that later today and report back. Thanks Much!
