There doesn't seem to be a lot of activity on the NSPB channel, so asking here in general. We were investigating why our refreshes were taking so long and were led by NS support to look at our file storage. We were surprised to find we had several TB, most of which was due to NSPB data within the SuiteScripts
com.netsuite.nspbcs
output folder. Has anyone using NSPB experienced excessive file storage in this folder?

What's NSPB?

Hi, the file storage in the outbox folder will not have anything to do with the refresh time. The refresh time is related to the Essbase database storage - the underlying database of NSPB. The file storage that support would be referring to is the Essbase pag and ind files, the larger these get the more time refreshes can take. These can be viewed from the Database properties in the Rules editor. When you say a long time how long is that? Things that impact the refresh time is adding a new member to a dense dimension - you can see the settings for dense and sparse dimension in the performance settings when looking at the dimension editor. The performance settings have a huge impact on not just refresh times but calculation performance. as a guide all the Dense dimensions are generally the first few in the database - then the smallest aggregating sparse dimension to the largest aggregating sparse dimension - then smallest to largest non aggregating (by non aggregating I mean things like scenario that do not roll up)

@eblackey Do you mean NSPB refresh time or NetSuite sandbox refreshes?

Sorry that I wasn’t clear on that. I meant NetSuite sandbox refresh time.
