Morning all, quick question around workflows helping auto populate fields, i have one for the opportunity but when i use the quick add portlet, it doesn't trigger the wf to auto populate the fields. ideally these fields wouldn't be displayed but because it's mandatory and the wf isn't pre populating quick add form i have exposed the fields for users to manually populate for now.

If you want to hide them go to the preferred custom form for this record and on the fields tab there are columns for Show, Mandatory, and use in pop up Uncheck the use in pop up for the fields you want hidden in this pop up port let

these fields are mandatory, via ui i have wf to auto populate them based of certain circumstance, however the quick add doesn't seem to trigger the wf, these fields need to be populated but my wf should ideally do it so that the user doesn't even need to see these fields on the quick add form

When you look at the record that is created from the quick add, in the system notes, what is the context of set? This can help you see what context you need to set the WF to run in to work for this use case

@Bryan Miller it says ui, so can't specify 'quick add' directly, i'm surprised the wf doesn't get triggered by the portlet.
