Looks like the "SuiteCloud IDE & CLI" integration is a precursor to "SuiteCloud Development Integration". And no, I cannot use just any tokens with suitecloud-cli, tokens needs to be tied to one of those integration records.

You are right, all development tools work with that particular integration record.
