Is anyone else facing weird SCA caching issues? We used to be able to invalidate the cache and front-end changes in the configuration record would be immediately loaded, now we have to open an incognito tab to see our changes.

If it works in incognito, it sounds like browser caching issues. Are you opening your browser developer tools and doing a hard reload? Also make sure you haven't selected advanced options such as the ones about persistent caching.
