Hi all - we are reviewing our Project structure in NetSuite in preparation of a EVMS (earned value management system) implementation. Does anyone have experience here and is open to chatting about their implementation? Happy to compensate for your time
Out current setup:
1. Using Daston as a module in NetSuite
2. Have Projects and Sub-Projects rolled out across all of our systems
3. Do not have many Tasks
a. Non-labor is put directly against the subproject
b. Labor is sometimes at the Task level and sometimes at the subproject level
Main question is the role of Tasks and how many we should be expecting to build out. We are aligning our Project structure to a Schedule (built out in MS Project) which is standardized based on a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) from MILSTD 881
