Does anyone use shopify post purchase upsell in netsuite? we have figured out the order capture end. We have a sales order come in and apply customer deposits which then will be applied to invoice We are stuck on the refund end. Our CS agents will need to know which deposit to refund and right now the only way would be for them to go into shopify which we don't want. Does anyone use post purchase in shopify? How do you handle the refund aspect?

is the refund after the invoice or prior? Initiated with a Credit Memo or just Customer Refund?

@Greg Lopez It could be either scenario. But we always initiate a return authorization first no matter what. our RMA is customized so that if no return is required that it's okay as well since we never restock inventory on our rmas

If you don't do re-stock, then Shopify doesn't need to know the refunded items/sku just the refunded amount $. So in reality to don't over complicate it, you can select any Customer Deposit with balance amount. If you still need to identify by Customer Deposit to which shopify line item it belongs to, you'll need to bring the line items while creating the customer deposit into a custom record,
