Hi. I want to assign a payment record to a sales-order in a RestLet, but cant seem to get it to work. Anyone know if this is possible ?

Could it be that salesorders are not in the `apply` sublist

Sales Orders do not impact GL, so I don't know why you'd want to do this

I want the customer to be able to prepay 

And if the payment has been made I can fulfill the order 

Use a Customer Deposit rather than a Customer Payment.  Deposits can be created directly to the Sales Order.  Then when the order is fulfilled / billed, the Deposit gets applied to the Invoice.
