This is not related to Netsuite I visited a Netsuite Customer yesterday They are shipping 3000 packages a day with UPS They have a scale and weight each package. I was very surprise. I think that they've been doing that for years and no one wonder Have you ever heard that UPS for the shipping department to weight every package ?

This seems like a normal practice, how else would they calculate freight cost?

for each item, they have the weight in Netsuite. So they only weight the "box" when you think about it

Netsuite WMS. I'm still confuse why they are "weighting" each item. I'm thinking that it's an old habit but I can be wrong.

Their weights in NetSuite may not be as accurate as it should be. I’ve heard of clients weighing each box again just to double check their freight cost
