Hi, our company has multiple subsidiaries and one of them is in Europe. It's a manufacturing company and have intercompany transactions. We change the line items and quantities and expected ship date on almost all their orders. Before the orders get loaded in a container, we want to be able to accomodate any last minute changes and update the orders accordingly, which most of the times there'll be additional line items added to the same PO. This is to minimize the documentation to the customs. But as we also know, NetSuite locks the transactions after a fulfillment record is created, even when it is at a picked stage. The orders will have 1000s of lines and needs update. Our supply team do not want to close the orders and create a new one. Is there any other way that this can be dealt with? Has anyone had a workaround solution for this? Any help is very much appreciated.

Do you mean that the order is locked after you have created the fulfillment? That is not native Netsuite. Or do you need all lines in the same fulfillment? Meaning, you want to add lines to an existing fulfillment record? Then you will be disappointed.

It is a native behavior. Once an Item Fulfillment record is created, then the paired transaction cannot be edited. The only way to edi that would be to unpair, which would mean replacing all the lines (1000s) with non-inventory item. We tried with intercompany inventory transfer and that works well with updating the line items with regards to quantities and new items as well, but does not give us the required invoice to send it with shipment.

Yeah, I missed the intercompany part. My mistake
