A question for all, we're writing some processes to integrate a new 3PL and have hit a snag when it comes to processing kit SKUs for Item Fulfillments (because the Kit SKU don't appear on a Special Order Item Purchase Order in Netsuite, only the member item SKUs are included).
The Sales Order is converted perfectly into a Purchase Order, and we can return this information and do Item Receipting without an issue against the Purchase Order for individual Inventory Items, though when we try to convert the original Sales Order into an Item Fulfillment from the Purchase Order which has kit items, we then don't seem to have enough information to do so, since the 3PL is only passing back the items that have been fulfilled from the PO (as Kit Item SKUS) and the POs don't have the original "header" Kit SKU.
Any ideas on this, or are we doing it wrong?
Also, is anyone aware of fields within Netsuite to be able to show on a Saved Search of a Purchase Order:
1. Order contains a Kit (i.e. a single PO has a "kit" on it, so we can boolean it at the "PO header" level).
2. Line item is a Kit component (and is actually included in the kit SKU. We know "Member Of" kind of does this, though we want to know if it's a component item within the context of the specific order for that line item, and not just makes up a component of "some" kit). i.e. we have a lot of kits that have a single component that's in potentially hundreds of kits, so "Member Of" doesn't display what we need as it.
