Income tax account is not showing when generating income statement or trial balance. Would anyone knows the reason? Thanks

Are these custom financial reports you are generating? In any case it may be worth editing the report and have a look at the appropriate section of the layout to see if the account is mapped to it

Yes custom reports, I checked the layout and the tax ledger is mapped. What’s confusing me that the generic p&l and TB is not showing it too!

the other two things that come to my mind would be: 1. the row is not displaying because GL balance is zero 2. 'display' checkbox in the layout set up of the appropriate row is not checked

is 6606 your GL number? Can you please also make a screenshot of the 'Section' set up?

Also make sure that whatever amounts are in this account are posting. Also, since NS won't let you show any account twice in the same report, make sure that 6606 doesn't actually show up in another section on the report (this is the higher chance of what's happening)

Ah, you said that the 'generic' p&l isn't showing the account either? By that, do you mean the standard out of the box income statement? If so, then are you sure that there's a balance in that account for the time period of the report? When you list out your chart of accounts, is there a dollar value for that account?
