Can I have a saved search sublist on a custom record that filters by a start and end date pulled from fields on the custom record?

No a Sublist will only use one filter so it can only be start OR end date not both

You can pre filter by start date then have end date shown and the user can set it but it won’t auto filter by both dates

Guess I'll have to dynamically create the sublist on record load.
