Hey everyone - we are moving one of our business teams to Netsuite CRM and importing Opportunities from another system, including Closed Opps for reporting purposes. I don't see a way to set the actual close date with csv import or a workflow field update. We can set the create date and expected close but not actual close. Is there a way? Thanks!
b
Thanks - I was hoping there was a way around it, since Netsuite also uses that date to calculate days open. It really skews it for imported records that were really closed months ago.

shouldn't that date align with the invoices/sales orders you're loading and then you have the correct date?
b
We're only loading Opps. The sales orders and invoices are still in other systems. Moving completely off legacy systems is a longer term project.
j
could consider doing only open opportunities if you're not fully moved over yet. I'm sure there's a lot of business/usability reasons why you might not want to do that though
b
They want the history - especially since the actual transactions are elsewhere. We were able to eliminate data migration for our first sales team to move to Netsuite CRM, but their sales transactions were already in Netsuite. Thanks for your help!
