Does anyone know how to limit/restrict item fulfillments based upon terms & deposits? Currently our instance allows item fulfillments for COD orders with no deposit/payment.

Do you make fulfillments manually in Netsuite or do you use any handheld solutions like RFSmart, Netsuite WMS or a proper WMS?

One solution we used for a client was to remove the Sales Order Fulfil button unless certain a criteria were met. These included a paid invoice for COD terms, being within the clients credit rules and some other criteria.

Were you able to also prevent users from fulfilling via the Fulfill Orders bulk processing page? @Netsuite Tragic

@Netsuite Tragic in many chases this can easily violate GAAP. Meaning that if you invoice the customer prior to the goods being shipped you pre-recognize revenue. That being said it might give me a idea on if I can do similar with a deposit.

@Luis we did not need to as this client doesn’t use that screen. If we did need to I would look at a different UE script on the fulfillment.

@Netsuite Tragic it is always a issue even if privately held to violate GAAP as they will still pay taxes
