Acquisition Question: We acquired a company using NetSuite and have since merged them into our NetSuite instance. Oracle NetSuite is renewing this defunct instance charging pretty much full price (for NS SS Std Cloud Service), they are also doing that flip and trick Account Manager thing, so what we negotiated with the last Account Manager is no longer honored. We only need the defunct NS instance for some tax and accounting report pulls from time to time. Caretaker Mode, does anyone have experience with the negotiations and know the $$ delta between NS SS Std Cloud to NS Caretaker Mode? Not your basic NS question, but renewals are always interesting.

Have you thought about exporting/migrating aggregated accounting data from that account to avoid a renewal?

Yes, we are going to renew around $38K for caretaker mod, told them if they could get it down to 20K I would renew for the next 5 years or we renew for 1 more year and task a couple of staff to exporting the file cabinet.
