I'm experimenting with Saved Search Formula(HTML), trying to reduce the column width for better display per this SuiteAnswers article: https://suiteanswers.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/104415/loc/en_US. I created a table without the font tag, but it didn't reduce the column width. I added in the font size=10 tag + closing tag, now the column is the same size and my text is gone!. Still working on this, but it makes me wonder if it would be best to have one Formula(HTML) column to display the entire search results. Right now I have 2 HTML columns and 3 normal field columns. Also, the column in question where I'm adding the table html is also a Group column...does that affect anything? Any ideas or suggestions are greatly appreciated!
Good grief I didn't close the font tag. Now my text is visible but still have column width issues.

Can you post your formula?

'<table width=250><td>' || {customer.entityid} || '</td></table>'
Various versions of the above, I've tweaked the table width and added <font size=??> with different font sizes.
I've found that it's really the responsive screen design and my wide screen, but it prints really wide with tiny font size as well.
Probably, if I want to print I should change it to a report. I'm new to NS, so it's easy to get off on a tangent just to see how things work.

A table tag needs to have a tr pair you can’t have a column td without a row tr
