Can you import / create new price levels through CSV import? #C298P0BCK

Yes. check out "Import Pricing Data for Items" SuiteAnswers ID 9976 as well as the associated links. If you're using quantity based pricing, also check out "Imports Using Multiple Price Levels and Quantities Example" SuiteAnswers ID 26741.

Thanks. I want to actually create the pricing level... not the values for the items.
setup / accounting / accounting lists / price level / new (x100) and also wondering if it then could do the updates on the items with that level.
j
No, I don't think that's a supported record type for csv imports currently. That's an unusually high number of price levels IME.
k
We currently have every percent setup and sales is looking to add half percents... its a fun setup
j
Can you not just let them do custom pricing and report out on the backend (or put some sort of review or approval in) at that point?
k
Nope. Its all part of our price group mapping. This actually calculates the prices for the sales team, but they are needing to go another 1/2 percent. Its wild.
NetSuite PS set it up initially. I wasn't here for that fun.
j
hmm...okay, there's always some reasons, but definitely seems like something that could be done in a different/better way, although maybe the juice is not worth the squeeze here. The fact that it was NS PS makes me double suspicious that it wasn't done the best way netsuite
k
right??
