Hi all i am testing a subsidiary restr ucture (know and understand the risks, doing all the financial report expost to check what changes etc) anyway in the test i cant move the elimination sub that needs to come up a level, its stuck under the original parent, thats now been downgraded with a new parent under it. is this normal. I cant find anything in suite answers. I am guessing i may have to make this elimination sub inactive and set up a new one

is the sub of which you have your elim sub moving the level up? if not the setup is correct. i think it sounds you might just need the new elim sub. hard to tell without a visual

The sub was originally the parent has dropped down to be the same level as all others (it was previously the parent) The consultant i have been working with expected to be able to move the elimination sub as well, i think its just a case of needing a new elimination sub too.

so you have new parent, and you should create new elim for the parent. if you had your old sub with the elim, they should be moving together natively

well, you can test it. create new parent, elim for that new parent, and make the old parent a child of a new parent. then look into the parent field of the old elim sub. You will see it is the old parent
