Hi, we have Parent Departments and Sub-Departments and we do not want transactions accidentally being posted to parent department. Is there a way to display ONLY sub-departments on transactions?

You can inactivate the parents

Hi Watz, we are using the Parent Departments on Employee record, so I created a workflow to set the department to NULL if the user selects a parent and also a message that asks the user to select a sub-department.
