Hello, is there any way to retrieve the customer/vendor Tax Reg. Number field = vatregnumber in SuiteQL? It seems that it doesn't exist in the tables. Is it some kind of join with another table? Can it just not be done?

no, it is not available. Common solution is to create your own field for it and copy the value on save
