Hey everyone,
We’ve had a few existing customers ask us about adding NetSuite support to Sequin. I haven’t scaled an integration on NetSuite before, so I’m trying to gauge how compelling supporting NetSuite would be. Had a few questions – and I reckon ya’ll are some of the best people to ask: 👇

1. Have NetSuite’s API rate limits ever been an issue for you?
2. Scale of 1-10, how easy/hard is it working with the API?
3. Scale of 1-10, how easy/hard is it working with SuiteQL?
4. Have you ever had to sync NetSuite data to an external data store (or sync data from your app back to NetSuite)?

Looks like a really nifty product. From the documentation, it looks like there is already some level of NetSuite support?
1. Yes - we have had to license SuiteCloud Plus to address API rate limiting
2. 6
3. 8
4. Our data team is currently working on data warehousing our transactional data in Snowflake. We are using JDBC with integrator.io as the ETL

Thanks @michoel, very helpful responses! Yes, we have an early version, validating it with alpha customers now.
Sounds like your main use case for integrating is data analytics. Is that right? Or do you guys have any operations/transactional use cases?

We have numerous transactional use cases - integration with Salesforce, in-house billing system, subsidiary portals etc. We mostly use RabbitMQ with a REST middleware for our integrations

Hey @Fred Pope — realize I forgot to make my easy/hard scale clear 🤦♂️
Are those 1s as in “very easy” or 1s as in “very hard”
Also, curious about a specific example of a NetSuite object you needed to sync one way or the other (and why)?
Thanks 🙏
