N/ui/serverWidget.Form.addField()

in a User Event script deployed on Item, is it possible to add a field to a custom subtab of an existing form? I am having no problems adding a field to the form. But when I try to specify the subtab using the

container

parameter, I get the dreaded error, “An unexpected error has occurred.” Here is a generic example:
