Hi Everyone. I am getting
Error while accessing a resource. Please enter value(s) for: Tax Schedule.
whenever I am trying to create a NonInventorySaleItem via REST API. Did anyone face that issue? Thank you

I am aware of the limitations, nevertheless I don't see anything that relates to my issue in there.
b
which feature is the tax schedule related to
z
SuiteTax is not required on my end, because all of my items are set as Non-Taxable
at least this is what the consultants are saying in each call
b
you probably want to directly answer my question
z
but when I try to create an Item, this pops up as a mandatory field, but it's not documented anywhere
b
which feature is the tax schedule related to
z
SuiteTax i assume
b
try again
take a look in your account, and see if suitetax is enabled
z
I have no idea
b
Enabling Features is the usual starting place to figure out which features are enabled
z
b
good, you probably read it now, but you now know that tax schedule is related to advanced taxes
🙌 1
and not suitetax
your account does not have sutietax enabled, instead it is using advanced taxes, which is a legacy tax
now, back to Limitations of REST Web Services to figure out the problem
z
REST web services do not support legacy tax features. To work with taxation through REST web services, you must have the SuiteTax feature enabled. For more information about using SuiteTax, see SuiteTax
thanks a lot. I thought by having everything defaulted in NetSuite to Non-Taxable will sort out the issue

I'm having the same issue. @battk is there any work around that you know of?
