Hi all, outside of SuiteCommerce, what solid options are there for E-Commerce solutions that work well with NetSuite. In summary need to be able to do BRB, B2C, multiple businesses, some businesses are either / or, some are a mix of both, some are just a showcase of products but are sold through distributors. Want a really tight solution with NetSuite so that settings of what displays where can be controlled within NetSuite ideally using existing fields. I understand SuiteCommerce can do this, but need to do some comparisons. Needs to work ok for Australia and NZ too. NOT looking for an implementation partner at this stage, just overall options

Shopify plus
Magneto (I think is owned by Adobe now)

BigCommerce

@michoel does big commerce have more out of the box functionality than Shopify or do you have to buy their enterprise version as well to get wholesale functions? (Just like you have to get Shopify plus to get the functions you need for wholesale)
m
From their pricing page, custom pricing is only available on enterprise. It's been a while and I've only worked with enterprise version I don't recall if it was due to features or stores revenue putting them in that tier

Awesome guys - these comments are really helpful.
Has anyone worked with these options and cross subsidary fulfilment btw?
m
@Nic Answer yes. Most of the function for that comes with the integration setup not so much in the webstore setup. But I’ve set it up for Shopify and multi subsidiary NetSuite

Thanks the cross sub seems to trip many up, we sell through one subsidary but all stock is held in anothe,r so we utilise the NetSuite Cross Subsidairy solution for this. had issues with SPS Commerce and 3PL integration as a result of this!

Shopify was pretty great - our only issues we had (and maybe others figured out workarounds for these) is that Celigo wouldn't push over price levels (plus Shopify doesn't really have support for the type of price levels we use on NetSuite) and matrix options are capped at 3 (size, color, gender for example) I'm working on integrating NetSuite and a lesser known ecommerce solution Swell because in my eyes it's like a more flexible Shopify 🙂

I'd research plenty before pulling the trigger. SuiteCommerce: I've yet to meet a real marketing team who loves this platform. It is just plain difficult. Shopify is great, but not without its limitations. Shopify and BigCommerce both really fail in the B2B world as they both acquired apps within their ecosystem to facilitate this. Outside of these you are moving to very expensive platforms not native to NetSuite. Salesforce ecom is great, but B2B is technically a 2nd platform. (upwards of $100k/yr + rev. share). etc. etc. Could go on and on. There are a ton of options out there.

OroCommerce - from the founders of Magento. It started as a b2b only and now offers b2c. Incredible ability scale.
