Is it possible to move headings in the standard P&L report? I want to move the Other Income section directly underneath the main Income / Revenue section near the top of the report

not on the standard - but you can customize the standard report in this manner

Thanks @Karina - I just saw that we can move the headings, thats cool. But the gross profit is only calculated from the sales and purchases headings, and not the other income heading. I guess this is standard accounting and cannot be changed

That’s correct! your Gross Profit is always Gross Revenue less CGS leaving any operating expenses behind. What you could do is not use account type but just use account number when you do your groupings/calculations
