We have subscriptions that have a quantity discount schedules, if the list price at a quantity of 1 is $100, $100 is the fair value of a license for all customers that buy at that tier, however if a customer purchased 100,000 licenses they get a 95% discount the Fair Value of each license is $5. We usually set the discounted sales price get the correct fair value, but sometimes there is a discretionary discount added as well so that discount gets rolled into the discounted sales price so no revenue allocation happens since NS thinks that the fair value is the discounted price. it really throws off the allocation as NS views the subs as not discounted. The other way I think I could accomplish this is if I can get the subscription line discount to feed onto a custom field on the element and make it a field that could be selected in the FV formulas. I think that we will need to write a script to accomplish this, then I could use the discount to calculate the actual FV using maths that NS allows in a FV formula. The discretionary discount is what breaks the process, then they set up quantity pricing the rule was there should be no discretionary discount, but Sales never follows rules and no one will tell them no
