In my NetSuite I have
Administrator
access, but when managing roles I cant
Edit
the
Administrator
role (and some others). How can edit that role? I would like to give it

access for single-sign-on

You canโ€™t. You could create a custom similar role. One reason is that you always need one role without SAML, to make sure you can always connect to NetSuite.

Ok. That makes sense. But If I use a custom role, it is not able to provision Administrator-users.
For security reasons, only an administrator is allowed to edit an administrator record.
How do I solve that?

I am sure you can. For admin, you may need to always use NetSuite. But that should be rare that you have to add admin roles to people.

Ok. I tried to make other roles (not administrator) that would be controlled by SAML, and let the Administrator role use direct login. But the Okta integration fails on the Administrator users, so they dont get provisioned at all
I guess I could make a new Administrator user that is not controlled by Okta. Just to be sure I can always login
