Hi , This is an interesting request. Based on how we manufacture we have a scenario where manufacture our Bulk products in batches can be 12K liters or up to 36K liters. Now their made in 12K Liters batch's at first then get mixed into a buffer thank so initially each batch will have its own lot number but then their mixed together so a new lot should exist for all. But thats after QC has been done on each and they all pass their combined into a single Lot. Im still waiting on details as this partially makes sense to me but also i dont fully understand why we cant leave it as 3 different lots? but my question is: is there a way to combine lots into a new lot using a WO or im open to ideas? The main issue we are seeing is that when we use a WO it wants to do QC again which makes sense but I have no way to turn that off without fully disabling it for that product it self.

Have you looked into Blend ERP , sounds like you are a process MFG. I don't work for them but can make an introduction if helpful.

Maybe if you had Assembly Lot, and Assembly Combined, and did a WO to consume the lot into the Combined, the Combined could get a lot number of its own. and the Combined not have a QC state.

@Arthur B. I think what Pete mentioned is your best bet. An Assembly for the initial 12K and then another Finished Good Assembly with the 12K batch as a sub-assembly component to it. You'll consume the original 12K lot when building the Finished Good Lot
