I'm mostly functional, so apologies if this is a dumb question, but just to verify: you have to build a Suitelet or some other type of custom object to be able to manually execute a Script Deployment, correct? SuiteAnswers seems to suggest that's true. We have a scheduled script that kicks off a bunch of subsequent scripts, which works fine in Production, but since scheduled scripts don't fire automatically in Sandbox, we have to manually Execute it every time we need, which is annoying. Looking for alternatives for our testing.

Scheduled scripts don't fire automatically in Sandbox? 🤔 I thought they were disabled on each refresh, but then you only need to re-enabled them to run automatically. But not sure.

Well see that's why I'm functional and not a Dev...I thought they were off permanently in test environments. I will try that, thanks @Edgar Valdes facepalm

Yes you can definitely schedule scripts in sandbox, they are just by default unscheduled when you refresh
