Hello, is there a reason why in a saved search the amount field would show as positive when the value shows as negative on the transaction

by any chance function for amount field in the saved search is set to "Absolute"?

add

account

,

amount (credit)

and

amount (debit)

to your saved search. That may show you better how amounts are represented in relation to GL accounts. if not that, some screenshots of the transaction/saved search could help
