In these systems pharmacists are like god. A patient came in unconscious and no ID so they did their thing and sent them home w/ meds. Turns out the guy did have a profile in the system and was allergic to the meds they gave him and he died. We got blamed for not catching that but the pharmacist overrode the alert so nothing we can do.
