10/03/2023, 5:09 PMWe're at the start of implementing RF smart. Make sure you go through a couple of demos and think about how you're current business processes fit in with it. We're having to have part of their system customized since their bulk picking doesn't follow an industry standard FIFO or LIFO process.

10/03/2023, 6:22 PMIt uses Netsuites inventory logic as a basis. And puts a shallow layer of logic above that. Really simple handheld solution. Can work great though!
If you use expiration dates than you are looking for FEFO, not FIFO.

10/03/2023, 6:22 PM@Kelli Webster In the case of doing a bulk pick, you have to pick all items and can't do partial pick. It won't automatically fulfill orders based on FIFO criteria. It's either pick all or switch to a single order picking process.
We're having a customization done to allow us this option, to partially pick a bulk order and it will fulfill the orders based on FIFO

10/03/2023, 6:26 PMIn bulk pick you tell the system a set of orders you are picking for. The picker is given a pick path with each item as one line with the total of that item to pick across all of the orders. Unfortunately, if the picker finds there isn't enough of an item to pick in the bulk pick, they will have to cancel the pick and switch to a different picking method.
