I am trying to prep for a NetSuite Foundations Certification. Do you recommend understanding the general concepts taught in the video or do you recommend finding questions out of the video that you think will be asked on the exam?

I started watching the course videos in my learning and I was wondering how did you prepare for the exam?

I would watch and get through all the coursework but also explore the platform for 6-12 months

Through any training courses. I believe they have a suitefoundations course

They also have a sample test and study guide. If you feel pretty good about the sample test and have a basic understanding of what's on the study guide, you should be pretty well prepared.

How long have you been working on NetSuite? they ask you pretty detail questions and pick 3 or pick 4 sometimes, so you have to know your stuff, I would say if you have atleast 1.5 years on hands on, you should be good

@Suitestallion I have 7 months of hands on experience

hmm you might be okay but like i said there multiple choices are lot of pick 3 pick 4s so need to careful with those, I would try to get a demo account and try to walk thru the processes like O2C, P2P, R2R customizations, enable features etc

Do you need to memorize exact path to different options or to recall exactly names? I know that your brain get familiar on where the things are after repeating at all but I"m not sure if the exam is about where to find things or to proof you understand how some process works into NetSuite.

Sample exam will give you a good idea

When folks are referring to the sample exam, are we talking about the PDF they provide in the Learning Portal?
