Hello, how do you standardize the web notifs emails (system email template) and emails sent when SOs are created via UI? I have tried using a workflow to send the system email template for both UI and web contexts. I did a research and it says I need to update the freemarker format to reference records. My question is - after I have updated the system email template to a freemarker format, can I also refer to any website data in the template that I will be using in a workflow?

Not sure I follow you correctly. The data available to the templates is based on the underlying NS record type. Whether the order was generated via the UI or the Web, it should be Sales Order record data.

Hello. Thanks for the reply but we wanted to only have one email template for all sales orders whether it is submitted thru website or entered via NS UI. Currently, it does not allow us to do that since we can only select system email templates in website settings. While in the sales order via UI, the email template is from Documents > Templates > Email Templates. In that case, we need to rebuild one to conform with the other. I've tried copy pasting but the format is different and doesn't allow me to save. It seems like website data cannot be used in the documents > email templates but not so sure as the format needs to be changed, but thanks anw!
