I always work closely with our accounting team, and consider it a partnership. They tell me how things should work, and it’s my job to make it happen. Then they test and confirm it. I really couldn’t do it on my own, having no formal education or background in accounting. I have picked up on many concepts over the years, but as they say, a little knowledge can be dangerous. I probably know just enough to be dangerous.
