Noticing something on sales orders. If I have multiple line items and they have different locations on them, the assembly item “Create Work Order” link opens in a blank work order instead of copying the BOM and related assembly info. I notice that the url link is missing the location id at the end, “location=” If all the lines use the same location, then the link for work order works fine as expected “location=1”. What causes this?

Do you have default BOM and revision per location or Master Default activated on the assembly?

@Axel No. The BOM is set for available in all locations

Okay, but I believe you need to have a default BOM for the location that you set up on the Manufacturing subtab on the assembly record for it to default on the WO created from the SO

I’ll check it out now. We noticed that when the empty WO opens, we can get it to refresh by changing the location and then back again, which mysteriously adds all the BOM information again.
