As I needed to show / hide something and at different stages (edit / view / create) I ended up with a client and a UE script. Client script, as part of the process set a flag based on the URL "status" parameter as mentioned. and this was used later in the UE @bturk Thanks for replying, since then I have knocked up a map / reduce script to update 6k+ records, gotta love MR scripts! 😀
