This is an actual usecase here, ie, my code, creates or updates a customers dob. So I either call

record.submitFields

or create customer then

record.setValue()

. And each of them I pass the variable

dob

but its looking like

record.submitFields

wants a string and

record.setValue()

wants a date, am I correct?
