that's very odd, I guess I'd check the deployments are correct and that you don't have another script/workflow that is stopping saving and also worth checking that the script file in netsuite appears as you think it should, I've had issues where uploading from eclipse says it is complete but the file doesn't actually change

i ended up deleting EVERYTHING against the task entity and now it's working - thanks again!
