you could certainly use

nlobjRecord.getAllLineItemFields()

in a big nested loop to get->set each column from one transaction to another without 'knowing' all the fields and without having to change it when new fields are added but you may run into weirdness around calculated/dynamic fields and other scripts acting on column fields.
