Can someone clarify
util.nanoTime()
for me? It says that it "Returns the current time (epoch) in nanoseconds." There are 1,000,000,000 nanoseconds in a second. When I run the function and get a value like
22081376913576984
, I should be able to divide this by 1,000,000,000 to get the number of seconds since the epoch. The value I get (22,081,376) is only the number of seconds in the last 255 days, not 47 years. What am I not understanding about this function?
