the data is related, the problem I encountered when running a search on transaction is that it results to multiple repeating transactions even with summary type applied to it which causes the saved search to return the

execution time out

It depends on the data. If you have a lot of transaction and not so many different items, I would suggest splitting it to 2 searches and then just combine the data inside the script by the item id.
