my point is that there's no reason that the

N/runtime

object can't include where it is. it's all context specific info anyway. your 'N/runtime' request for today would be for Miami and next week it would be New York, no issues. /rest/datacenterurls is NOT a global url. if you request it outside a netsuite context you must query the right url to begin with in order to get an acurate result. (at least in the case of sandbox vs production, maybe for other data centers)
