@neerajrtiwari reassigning a matrix child item is a little strange. you'd normally just regenerate the corresponding one from the appropriate matrix parent. you should still be able to do it successfully, but you'd have to change both the parent and the matrix template. if the matrix option was different you'd need to change that as well.
