For some companies it’s about budget. We can budget the cost of ACS as part of software licenses and support, while a consulting firm or professional services would come from a separate budget allotment, which is why our business pays for ACS. We are also highly realistic about their capabilities and mostly pawn small, isolated work off onto them. Anything even remotely complicated I need to do myself, or at least review it.
