"Excellent Work" by netsuite ACS team: One of my client had ACS team come up with CSV template for JE upload, which they did pretty nicely. When they used that template and field mapping to import actual JE into the system (prod) found out that none of the JE's created via CSV import had approval workflow attached to them. That means those JE's cannot be approved and staying in pending approval state. They (ACS) looked around for the root cause of the issue, but couldn't figure it out. They told my client that workflow created by their consultant Admin (me) is the issue and ask him to fix it. So they reached out to me for a fix last night- I looked at the issue and figure out the problem in 5 minutes - those dummies didn't check the box for triggering workflow and scripts in their(ACS) import mapping. Long story short it proves how incompetent ACS can be some time. I told my client why not put me on retainer like ACS and pay me $160-180/hr instead of $225/hr for the ACS and get some quality service (now I am charging them $130). This is exactly resonating with the last thread in this channel. My client had quite a bit of issues with ACS and NS processional team - they engaged them to implement ARM more than 2 years ago against mine and my business partner's recommendation. They just scrapped it after spending over 150K and countless efforts put in by their employees, now they are regretting that they should have listened to SME like us. Morale of the story is- you get what you pay, so when we ask $130-150/hr we are not highballing it - it will be quality service. @creece would agree with me
