on Saved Searches, is there any way to limit the options in a dropdown in available filters? I added a Status filter to a saved search of Sales Order transactions but the dropdown has all transaction filters and not only those related to Sales Orders. There should be no need to wade through all the other transaction types to select a Sales Order-specific transaction status.

No, I don't think so. You could create your own custom field that sources the status and is limited to the options you want, and then filter on that field instead, but I suspect that's more work than it's worth.

I have done it with a saved search to pull the values you want, then associate the saved search to the drop down list. If i remember correctly I had to create a custom drop down list field on the record, but have it hidden, or something along those lines. I know it can be done, just do not remember how I did it totally, I can look through my notes
