I've been asked to make the "Estimated Rate" column on Requisitions Mandatory, but I don't seem to find the "Estimated Rate" field exposed on Workflows. Or, if it is left blank, calculate based on the Qty and "Estimated Amount". • Am I missing something? Is this possible via a workflow or it needs to be scripted?

Haven’t used requisitions, but can’t you customise the form to do it?

The option for Sublists are just just to show yes/no the column, but not to make it mandatory.

I don't see that "Est. Cost (line)" on the Items sublist selection.

it should be what ever label you are using, not going to be exact my dev accounts label.

On the Req column displays as "Estimated Rate". I will keep looking for it, but so far, I have tried all (Line) fields that have "Rate" or "Cost" in the Name and nothing yet.

something weird - on my own dev account I can see the est. cost but on one of the prod account cannot seems see any of the amount fields in sublist level for workflow action

Maybe the Est. Cost (Line) field is from the estimated gross profit feature which is enabled in one account but not the other?

you are right estimated amount is not exposed - user event scripting is only option
